Signing up at Petron99 is one of the quickest registration processes in Malaysia's online casino industry. We designed the form to take as little time as possible without cutting corners on security or accuracy. Before you hit the "Register" button, though, there are a few things worth knowing to make sure your experience is great from day one.
First, let's talk about your username. Choose one you're comfortable using long-term — your Petron99 username cannot be changed once the account is created, so take a moment to think it through. For security reasons, avoid using obvious personal details such as your full name or phone number as your username.
The Malaysian phone number you register is important — it will be used for OTP verification during login, transaction notifications, and account recovery if you forget your password. Make sure the number you enter is active and in your possession. Petron99 accepts numbers from all Malaysian operators — Maxis, Celcom, Digi, U Mobile, and Yes.
A strong password is your account's first line of defence. Use a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols — and never reuse a password from another account such as your email or online banking. Petron99 also offers two-factor authentication (2FA), which you can enable from your account settings after registering — we strongly recommend this for maximum security.
Petron99 strictly enforces a one-account-per-person policy. Each individual is only permitted to hold one active Petron99 account at any time. This policy exists not to inconvenience you — it's in place to protect all members from bonus abuse and fraud that could compromise the overall player community experience.
If Petron99 detects that an individual holds more than one account, all such accounts will be closed and any balances or winnings will be subject to investigation. This is a term stated clearly in the Terms & Conditions us. If you previously had a Petron99 account that was closed and wish to re-register, please contact our support team first before creating a new account.
Many new members have questions about the KYC (Know Your Customer) process at Petron99. To clarify: KYC verification is not required during initial registration. You can sign up, make a deposit, and start playing without submitting any identity documents at this stage.
That said, Petron99 may request identity verification in certain situations — particularly when processing your first withdrawal or when the withdrawal amount exceeds a specified threshold. This is standard industry procedure designed to protect your account security and ensure funds are returned to the rightful account holder. Documents typically required include a copy of your Malaysian MyKad and a screenshot or statement of the e-wallet or bank account used for your deposit.
To speed up the verification process when it's required later, we recommend keeping a clear, legible digital copy of your MyKad on hand. Verification at Petron99 is typically completed within 24 business hours once complete and clear documents have been submitted.
Once your Petron99 account is open, the next step is making your first deposit. The minimum deposit at Petron99 is RM10 — among the lowest on comparable Malaysian online betting platforms. You can deposit using any of the listed Malaysian payment methods — Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, or FPX via Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks.
The Petron99 welcome bonus is automatically credited to your bonus balance once your first deposit is successfully processed. Current bonus rates and terms can be found on the Welcome Bonus. One important thing to understand about bonuses: each bonus comes with wagering requirements that must be met before any associated winnings can be withdrawn. These requirements are clearly stated on the bonus page — please read them before opting into any bonus.
If you want to make the most of the welcome bonus, check the current bonus rate before making your first deposit. Bonuses are typically based on a percentage of your deposit — so make sure your first deposit amount aligns with your budget and the applicable bonus terms.
One of the main reasons Petron99 is popular among Malaysian players is the sheer range of games available the moment you register and make a deposit.
